Recently, Bousfields, our fabrication arm, had the honour of celebrating our partner Trespa’s Global Account Manager, Ingo Sternitzke’s 24-year journey with the premier developer of high-quality panels, by creating a custom plaque.
Ingo’s remarkable tenure at Trespa, who are based in the Netherlands and were founded in 1960, is a testament to his commitment and passion for continued innovation in the global scientific surface solutions industry.
A lasting tribute
See Limited and Trespa have enjoyed an incredible partnership that more than four decades and Ingo has played a pivotal role in our collaboration in the UK’s scientific surface industry.
As a group of businesses, we are proud to distribute the Trespa® TopLab® scientific range for interior environments through our distribution arm, Performance Panels, the UK Premium Partner of Trespa, and fabricate these same products at Bousfields for esteemed scientific projects in the UK within education and laboratory environments.

The design process
To celebrate this remarkable achievement our fabrication arm, Bousfields, recognised for being a trusted fabricator of Trespa’s scientific surface material, were given the opportunity to create a custom plaque in Trespa® TopLab® BASE, featuring Ingo’s face that would be presented to him on the day of his retirement from Trespa.
First off, our team created an outline of Ingo’s face and the Trespa logo which could then be mapped and put into our advanced CNC machinery. Bousfields were then able to etch the image of Ingo into the Trespa® TopLab® without losing sharp details and smooth finishes.
The team at Bousfields have years of experience in the fabrication industry, combining advanced technology with expert craftmanship to create stunning projects.
Our team work with a range of different materials, Trespa® TopLab® is just one example. This scientific surface solution is built with outstanding durability and impact resistance.
In this instance, Ingo spent much of his 24-year career at Trespa working with this material, so it seemed a fitting tribute to his work.
