See Limited’s winning streak continues this awards season as we picked up our third award at the Northamptonshire Business Excellence Awards last night (Thursday 7th November).
In what has been a trophy laden autumn, See Limited were awarded the Sustainability Award on a star-studded evening at the Northamptonshire County Cricket Ground.
We are so proud of our achievements this year and the sustainable steps we have taken to reduce our carbon emissions.
Conversations have already begun about our next steps and we are incredibly motivated to make 2025 even better than this year.
The independent judging process
The Northamptonshire Business Excellence Awards judging process is accredited and independent, with an official Awards Trust Mark accreditation. The finalists for each award were reviewed by a judging panel, which consisted of Nick Hewer, star of The Apprentice UK, Rachel Mallows MBE, and Claire Harvey, Managing Director at Reed.
It was great to learn that the judges were not only impressed with our efforts to reduce our carbon emissions but also how we offer our services to support and encourage other businesses in our supply chain to be more environmentally focused.
This feedback is something that we’re really proud of. With our businesses operating in the UK’s built environment industry, there is greater emphasis on making more sustainable choices with buildings to protect and enhance people, places and the natural environment tackling the climate crisis.
We’re proud to lead by example in our industry and if we all make small changes, it can have a big impact on the planet.
Celebrating the best of business in Northamptonshire
The awards ceremony kicked off at 7pm with a soulful performance from Northamptonshire’s own Billy Lockett, who starred on the latest series of The Voice UK, before Alex Horne, most known for his role on Taskmaster UK, took to the stage to open the award ceremony and host the evening alongside his band The Horne Section.
On a night surrounded by more than 500 businesspeople and professionals in the Northamptonshire region, it was incredible to see so much talent in our county.
We are unbelievably proud to be recognised for our work and our commitment to sustainability in a such an amazing pool of talent.
Sustainability is a daily topic of conversation for us and our operating businesses Performance Panels Limited and Bousfields and we hope that through this exposure it encourages more businesses in Northamptonshire to begin these discussions and consider the environment in their own business operations.
See Limited’s Award Season
After wins at the NNBN Awards and the NBCA Awards last month, this awards ceremony was the penultimate one of the season, with one final push at the Northamptonshire Business Awards in a couple of weeks’ time (November 22nd).
